WOW!! 54 surveys!

A HUGE Thank you to everyone who filled out a survey for my dissertation! You all are great! It's amazing when people come through for you! Also, a special thanks to Smokkee, Waffles and Carmen for pimping the survey!

So, now all I have to do is score the survey and get the data into a spreadsheet for my Chairperson. Oh, that's only 216 individual assessment instruments! LOL

Anyways, school is almost over for me - only 2 more days, including today! Then, we are off to Florida! We are loading the truck on Friday and leaving Cali on Saturday. Good times. I will definitely have more time to blog after school is over! And, will blog from the road.

Can't wait to start my internship. I will be working with kids ages 5 to about 10 or 11 at a residential day treatment facility. These kids are supposedly in real trouble. The schools won't even take them in any longer for educational purposes. One day a week I will commute to Tampa to a residential treatment program for teens and kids. These kids have been removed from their homes and are also severely emotionally disturbed. Do you guys remember a while back a story in the news about some kids found in Florida that were kept in cages by their parents? Well, those are the kinds of kids that I will be working with. These kids' stories are so sad, but I am really looking forward to working with them. It's challenging, yet can be very rewarding!

Even if you do find legitimate survey companies, the money they offer is paltry compared to what you would be making at any other home-based job. For instance, I spent a week taking surveys on various sites that promised good money for doing so. In the end, I found that only two of them lived up to their promises – and even then, the checks I received a few weeks later for for 10.00 and 5.00. That’s fifteen bucks for taking long, complicated surveys that demanded a few hours of my time. That’s less than minimum wage!

This was a survey for my doctoral dissertation, not one of those other surveys you are talking about.

i think tis should be exclusive for bm hunters to tame excotic... though i wish that it wasnt a talent point, more of something that came with choosing the tree.

I like it either real long, or real short. JM's hair was almost to her waist when we dated. She had me trim it, once. I was scared, but it came out ok.

Then she cut it real short after we broke up. heh. Rediff
