Vegas Day 3

I decided to spend some time by the pool on Sunday. So I ventured down what was a very long hall on the 6th floor to the Stratosphere pool. It has an Amazing view of the surrounding mountains! The pool was relatively quiet - not like the bigger, more popular casinos. And, there was plenty of seating.

There was no poolside gambling. But, there is a bar, a place to get some grub and a small shop, were I bought some water and girly magazines. I was by myself, so this is the only pic I have of me (te he he):

I stayed out for about 2 1/2 hours. I later regretted this decision....

Here are some pics of the pool area. Overall, I really liked the Strat pool.

For dinner that night, Ray and I went to the Top of the World restaurant at the Strat.

The food, view and service were AMAZING!!!!! We began with a delicious shrimp dish for our appetizer. For my second course I had the lobster bisque, their famous recipe. WOW it was the best thing I've ever tasted! We both had the filet minon and lobster for our main course, plus some asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. And of course, some very nice wine. After dinner, we spent some time at the bar sipping martinis. Aaaaaaahhhh....this is the life!

I have always wanted to eat at that Top of the Word restaurant. I love the view! It's beautiful up there.

The pool looks nice! Maybe I'll do a review on it.
